breath of purpose

If you’re anything like me and turn into an absolute mess when life comes swinging, read this.

For the past week I have been contemplating on making changes in my life. My job no longer fulfills me the way it used to. I’ve outgrown my role and whilst I’m proud of all that I have accomplished, it’s time to grow with some new challenges. I am now ready to move out my current place and decorate my own little apartment. I am also ready to get my degree done and dusted as soon as possible, so that I can have some more time on my hands. I’m ready to meet new people and explore new places. I am ready to venture into different ways I can earn more money and gradually invest. There are just so many things that I am ready for.

Looking for another job (which I will truly enjoy) takes time and some dedication. Then there’s making time for interviews whilst you still have your current job to go to. Looking for rentals is a mission on its own and finding a flat mate to share that rent with? That’s another story. A degree cannot be completed in a day, so everyday I have to find the strength and patience to get through my studies. As someone who requires a good amount of time to create genuine connections, making new friends becomes a bit difficult but it’s getting there. There are so many ways to earn some extra cash, but figuring out which way will work best for you can be a bit challenging.

I know, I know. It sounds as if I’m coming up with excuses. But in all honesty, this is how life really is at times. These are the things we think about and it can drive us insane. I’m trying to think of all these solutions ,but I’m at a stage where every solution I come up with, comes with a a dead-end. It makes me incredibly anxious and tonight I am beyond exhausted. I’m sure I am not the only one. Right? Well, maybe I am and you’re having a huge laugh at my current life situation, in which I’ll gladly laugh with.

So, this is me telling you to have some wine, water or tea – whatever you like. Sit back and take a deep breath. Know that your purpose will reveal itself as you go along. Have faith in your capabilities and do not stop searching for whatever it is you desire. What is for you will always be for you. Learn to trust the process by just BEING. Sometimes, we need to let life unravel and show us what needs to happen. We’re always trying to control every single thing and sometimes it’s beyond our control. That. Is. Okay. Learn to be in the present and take it all as it comes.

“When you are here and now, sitting totally, not jumping ahead, the miracle has happened. To be in the moment is the miracle.” — Osho
